It has been an exciting 2018! We won company awards, hit milestones, gained new clients, travelled around the world and had twenty internal promotions. We certainly kept ourselves busy.
This is what we were up to this year…
January
We made it to the “Fast 50” by Recruiter Magazine for the 4th time! We also won an award as the 24th fastest-growing recruitment agency in the UK, the highest place we have reached so far.
The international team started off the year with trips to Belgium, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Anthony from our Frankfurt Office was promoted to Senior Consultant.
February
We placed 19th in the Sunday Times “100 Best Small Companies to Work For”, an award that recognises the highest standards of workplace engagement.
We celebrated with a stone-baked pizza truck at our office!
We launched our Whitehall Resources app for candidates.
March
We were nominated for the Recruiter Awards 2018, for “Most effective employer brand development”
Some of our International Team travelled to Amsterdam to visit clients.
April
First European tour of the year complete with trips to Prague and Sweden.
Matt W was promoted to Principal Consultant.
May
We brought in a hog roast caterer to celebrate another company milestone!
There were two management promotions: Adam to Senior Key Accounts Contracts Manager and Jon to Senior UK New Business Contracts Manager.
June
The Frankfurt office was officially up and running.
Harrison was promoted to Team Leader.
We created a virtual 360 walk-through of our Colchester headquarters.
July
We held our own Whitehall World Cup at the Colchester Office.
Our brand new MENA team celebrated its six months anniversary.
Our summer party at the Three Wise Monkeys was lots of fun.
We organised a “PJs day” in aid of Great Ormond street hospital.
We also had lots of promotions !

August
Our pets spent the day with us in the office on our “Dogs at work” day as part of our well-being program. We also raised money for the National Animal Welfare Trust.
We celebrated another milestone record from our Perm Team with a Chinese buffet for everyone.
Rory Welch was promoted to Senior Consultant.
September
We teamed up with the Colchester Rugby Club and sponsored their new “Halfway Inn” bar.
Our Spanish and Nordic teams travelled to Barcelona, Madrid and Copenhagen.
We worked together with the SAP Learning Hub to promote the development of SAP consultants.
October
Our internal recruitment team attended the Essex Career Fair and met lots of great students.
We celebrated a bake-off and a fancy dress contest at our Ghoulfest, and raised over £1000 for St.Helena.
Luke Percival was promoted to Senior Team Leader and Sam Jeggo was promoted to Senior Consultant.
November
Our annual Consultants’ Drinks event was a successful night, this time at Brown’s in London.
Business trips to Paris, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Belgium.
We exhibited at the UKISUG Connect at the Birmingham ICC.
Ben Brown was promoted to Senior Team Leader.
December
We exhibited at the UKOUG 2018 in Liverpool.
The Christmas spirit invaded our offices with the Christmas Jumper day on aid of Moorfield Eye Charity and the collection of non-perishable goods for the Food Bank Colchester.
We saw the Christmas markets in Munich, Copenhagen and Frankfurt.
We celebrated the end of the year with our annual Christmas Party and Whitehall awards!
