Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Finance Business Systems Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with project teams to provide production and maintenance support for core finance modules within SAP. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing business processes and leading system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Joint Venture Accounting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Business Process Design: Collaborate with project teams to design and optimize finance-related business processes. Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Business Process Enhancements: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead the implementation of changes in the SAP environment. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• System Upgrades: Lead and participate in SAP system upgrades and migrations. Ensure a seamless transition by coordinating testing, training, and documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and external vendors, to support project initiatives and drive successful implementations.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and enhancements. Ensure knowledge transfer and training materials are up to date.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their understanding and effective use of SAP finance modules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with SAP finance modules, specifically in a support or analyst capacity.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Experience with system upgrades and business process re engineering is a plus.
• SAP certification in finance modules is highly desirable.
