Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced IT Delivery Manager to work with a key client
Job Description:
* Minimum 10 years IT project management experience, with programme management experience a bonus.
* Minimum 5 full end-to-end project lifecycles experience and managing project budgets >$1m.
* Previous experience managing infrastructure projects, HR system migration projects covering payroll, time clocks and decommissioning SAP systems.
* Previous experience working with SAP HCM and Workday preferred esp. in HR processes and integration with financial accounting/bank.
* Strong communicator in oral and written format, comfortable operating between technical depth and executive level discussion.
* Project Management/Agile certification.
* Experience using Azure DevOps, SAP for extracting project financials preferred.
* Expert in MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, Project).
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manages the detailed tasks of the project plan/sprint plan.
* Produces and leads project kick-off and Architecture Review Board, incl. production of related documentation. Manages project repository.
* Produces weekly/monthly status reporting (RAG status, milestones achieved, financials, risks, issues, decisions needed).
* Quality assures deliverables and project documentation (functional, technical, training), including compliance to the Tate and Lyle IT Project Delivery Model.
* Produces the Test Strategy. Quality assures test plans, test scenarios and test scripts according to quality standards set by Tate and Lyle.
* Manage the execution of Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT Testing with Functional Leads. Ensure acceptance criteria documented. Manages SIT/UAT defect log (categorize type of bugs and manage resolution).
* Produces the Cutover Plan. Manages any dry run of the cutover plan where applicable.
* Produce Technical Go/no go decision checklist and coordinates sign-off with Steerco
* Facilities Change Approval Board (CAB) approval for moving systems changes from Test system to Production systems.
* Manages Hypercare plan.
* Produce BAU transition plan, coordinating the production of any Knowledge Transfer artefacts.
* Facilities and produce Project Lesson Learnt artifacts.
* Facilitates Daily meetings to remove blockers and manage the daily activities of the team vs planned activities.
* Ensure project actuals and vendor invoices are submitted on time.
* Facilitate any change impact assessment.
* Manage project team members and wider stakeholders within Tate and Lyle.
* Proactive and pragmatic approach. Good appreciation of project roles in the team and confidence to challenge with kindness.
