SAP FI Consultant with IFRS is required ASAP for a permanent engagement with one our leading clients.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our SAP Finance & Controlling team, you will play a key role in supporting and further developing the finance function through consulting, process design and SAP customising. You will work on optimising finance processes such as bank accounting and period end closing, using SAP standard functionality wherever possible.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the SAP FI module, with a particular focus on IFRS topics, including the implementation of business requirements through customising, testing and production deployment.
- Supporting business and IT projects, including taking responsibility for sub projects, with a focus on process consulting, process optimisation and the implementation of innovative SAP solutions.
- Managing and coordinating interfaces between SAP and non SAP systems, as well as integrations with adjacent SAP modules including SAP CO, MM, SD and BW.
- Contributing to the design and further development of a new S/4HANA template for SAP FI, including supporting the training and enablement of key users.
Your profile
You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable technical or IT related discipline, or have completed equivalent IT training.
You also bring several years of practical experience in the design and implementation of business processes within an SAP ECC FI environment.
In addition, you have:
- Strong knowledge of several SAP FI sub modules, particularly General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting and Accounts Receivable.
- A solid understanding of financial processes and relevant IFRS/GAAP accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of the latest SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities and their application within modern finance environments.
- Experience translating business requirements into SAP solutions, including customising, testing and implementation.
- A strong service and customer orientation, combined with an analytical, structured and methodical approach to your work.
- A high level of initiative, commitment and goal orientation, together with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good German language skills at B2 level or above, as well as good English skills.
