Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8-10+ years of experience to join a SAFe-based delivery environment.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and batch processing solutions, working both independently and collaboratively within Agile teams. You will contribute to system integration’s, platform evolution, and ensure high standards across performance, security, and reliability.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot (JPA, microservices)
• Solid experience with Spring Batch and ETL processes
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Strong database experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Experience working in Linux environments and with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, and legacy systems (e.g. mainframe/file-based)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or AppDynamics
• Understanding of security concepts (e.g. JWT, audit logging)
• Ability to work independently after onboarding and within SAFe/Agile teams
