Senior z/OS Consultant

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Senior Z/OS Consultant on a fully remote basis for a short term contract

Job Spec:
Our client is planning to roll out Visual Studio Code to their developers in the short term. Before they can proceed, we need to establish connectivity from VS Code to our z/OS mainframe environment.
To leverage capabilities such as User Build and the IBM Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS (ADFz) tooling, including Debugger, File Manager, and related components, we need to enable connectivity through the IBM RSE API.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in installing, configuring, and enabling the IBM RSE API, along with all required dependent components, on the z/OS platform
• Accelerate the setup and ensure that the environment is configured according to best practices and to the bank secure standards
