Data Analyst

Whitehall Resources require a Data Analyst to work with a key client on a 12 month contract.

*This role will involve on site work in Stockholm, roughly 3-5 days per week.

Data Analyst

Description of knowledge and experience
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
* Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development
* Strong working knowledge of relevant technologies like SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, etc.
* Extensive experience with data analysis, integration, visualization
* High proficiency in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical writing
* High proficiency with SQL and database management
* Experience in generating process documentation and reports
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

Typical work task to be carried out
* Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
* Develop mapping details for the development team with source to target data mappings with physical naming standards
* Conduct data analysis to identify the gaps and requirements of the existing and proposed solutions
* Evaluate, analyze, and communicate source system details and the target systems requirements by working closely with architects
* Understand and document requirements for source to target integration, data modelling, reporting, etc.
* Document the requirements in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with stakeholders
