Whitehall Resources require an Enterprise Architect to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.
*This role will involve on site work in Bradford 2-3 days per week.
*Inside IR35.
Portfolio Architect
Role description:
The resource is required for injecting the required standards and modernization of our Architecture delivery across the portfolio, leading the way and supporting our colleagues to improve standards and deliver value.
Key responsibilities:
* Leadership and Capability management – Aligned to the Senior Manager for Architecture Delivery, lead a team of circ. 10-15 Architects, across Tech Domains as defined in our Target Architecture and set the high standards of artefacts and deliverables expected to support projects succeed.
* Portfolio Architecture Alignment – Working horizontal across the portfolio, ensure interlocks and dependencies are clear, appropriate governance is applied and resolution plans for issues and escalations are managed effectively.
* Expert Knowledge & Skill – Build a clear understanding of the YBS as-is and to-be blueprints, driving optimisation aligned to our design principles and lead on discussions to define migration paths and transition states from legacy to future states.
* Project Delivery Support – On each project work with the assigned resources (both internal & external) to scope the architecture and design activities, working alongside Programme Directors, Sponsors and key stakeholders.
* Inter-connections with Change, IT and Digital – Validate the inputs and outputs with wider change teams, bridging known gaps and improving on findings from lessons in recent months.
