Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Product Manager.
This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.
Key Requirements:
– Senior Product Manager will take on a leadership role in managing the complete product lifecycle.
– This includes conceptualising, defining, delivering, monitoring, refining products and optimising business outcomes.
– The Senior Product Manager must exhibit a high level of leadership skills, guiding cross functional teams to success while maintaining a strategic focus on business objectives.
– This role requires a seasoned professional who can bring a depth of insights and experience to drive innovation and ensure the continued growth and success of our product portfolio.
– Product Manager will manage the end to-end product lifecycle, which encompasses the conceiving, defining, delivering, monitoring, refining, and withdrawing of products from the market to maximize business results.
– The right candidate will be an experienced Product Manager who is able to demonstrate the balance between technical mastery and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Have a clear value proposition, strategy, and roadmap for the product/family of products.
– Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and address customer needs.
– Ensure delivery milestones are realistic and achieved.
– Have a robust and cost effective support model in place.
– Perform governance and quality risk management activities including ownership of testing activities and accreditation inline with audit requirements.
– Ensure product team is committed and adept, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
– Deliver against finance metrics.
– Planning resourcing needs based on programmes of work that product lifecycle needs (e.g. design sprints, solution build, marketing).
– Facilitate workshops and Subject matter experts/stakeholder interviews to capture and frame business challenges.
– Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.
– Champion Agile practices, and empower your product teams to deliver solutions of the highest quality.
– Act as a bridge between engineering teams and stakeholder groups, ensuring technical design and build standards are met alongside meeting business and stakeholder requirements.
– Report on the agreed product OKRs and status.
– Comfortably hold conversations with senior leadership internally and externally.
– Builds and maintain strong relationships with other parts of our internal technology function.
– Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders of all levels (inc. third parties to assess partnerships where applicable).
– Coach peers and junior colleagues for skills advancement and product management education.
– Adhere to and promote the Client’s values.
– Adhere to and promote accessibility standards and ethical design principles.
– Adhere to and promote Information Security related processes, Software Audit Tools accreditation requirements, procedures, and role based responsibilities.
– Contribute to the successful adoption of the product by driving promotional efforts and support and guidance.
Key Experience/Skills:
– Strong business acumen (e.g. understanding business strategy, commercial thinking, portfolio prioritisation).
– Strong leadership and people development skills.
– Strong self motivation and teamwork skills, with the ability to build momentum and pivot if needed.
– Strong technical mindset with an ability to understand complex technical concepts and align these with business priorities.
– Internal and external senior stakeholder management and strong verbal and written communication skills.
– A history of building solid relationships with customers and teammates. Knows how to bring people together to form motivated teams.
– Focus on achieving business outcomes that drive value in an agile iterative way – doesn’t let perfection get in the way of good.
– Ability to design user centric solutions, which respond to user needs.
– Familiarity with audit, finance/professional services and related delivery model experience is desirable, but not essential.
– Experience in managing client engagements/project workstreams, working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
– Significant knowledge of automation / technology landscape to manage business processes.
