Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Engineer to work with a key client based in Stevenage.
**Please note this role falls INSIDE IR35 and requires ACTIVE SC Clearance**
**This role is 100% onsite in Stevenage**
Role Description:
* Participate, lead and implement Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Projects.
* Occasionally assist operational teams (L1 & L2). Oriented to complex incident resolution
* Major incident (qualification, action plan, resolution, RCA, knowledge)
* Problem management
* Ensure the transfer of skills to technicians and engineers.
* Respond to specific customer requests in coordination with the Capgemini Team Leader/SDM.
* Update technical documentation (HLD & LLD) and procedures.
* Perform hardware & configuration tests.
Skills:
* CISCO environment at least 5 years of experience.
* Good knowledge of the Cisco telephony and video conferencing environment.
o Knowledge of Cisco Telephony environment v12.5: (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, …)
o Knowledge of Cisco Video conferencing: CMS, and Cisco video conferencing (endpoints, TMS, …)
* Knowledge of the VMware suite v7/v8.
* Mastery of SIP/H323 protocols.
* Extra Knowledge is a plus:
o Kurmi, Telisca, Real Time Monitoring tool, Prognosis, PeterConnects ecosystems
o Knowledge of WAN/LAN networks and security.
o Systems administration and PC environment would be a plus
English mandatory: International environment so a good level of English is necessary (read, spoken and written).
