Data Center SME

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Data Center SME.

Key Requirements:

– Operating and handling IT Data Centre facilities MDF/IDFs in Organization.
– A key part of the role is vendor management including coordination with contractors (electricians, cooling technicians, etc.) for maintenance and collaboration with vendors during building and operations of data centers.
– Vendor management during building and operations of new data centres.
– Ensure that new Data Centre/server-/Patch rooms in production sites in DK and International sites are designed and implemented according to standards of Data Centre/server-/Patch room facilities.
– Ensure if GITO-PI is handed over the ownership and responsibility of an existing Data Centre/server-/Patch room, that the condition is raised to minimum requirements according to the room’s classification.
– Evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapt to Organization usages globally.
– Coordination/project management of global implementation of technical architectures.
– Build strong relations to the owners and customers of Production Infrastructure.
– Take part in the responsibility for deliveries to customers in accordance with approved Service Level Agreements.
– Overview and control of life cycle management.
– Ensure outstanding quality, cost effectiveness and performance of services delivered from GITO-PI.
– Take part in the overall technical responsibility for managing Major System Incidents (issues critical to IT and business continuity). A Major Incident can potentially disrupt large parts of Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

– Define, build and operate IT Data Centre facilities MDF/IDFs in Organization.
– Supporting in handling the Data Centre activities, including vendor management.
– Responsible for Housing Environment.
– Responsible for establishing and maintaining a standardized Data Centre/server-/Patch room for production sites (Housing Environment) managed by GITO-PI.

Key Experience:

– Experience with Infrastructure and technologies in large corporations.
– Experience covering specification, design, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions in large organizations.
– Experience in working on large IT projects.
– Good understanding of service management.
– Good understanding of IT processes.
– Good understanding of generic infrastructure related technologies.
– Good understanding of Pharmaceutical processes.
– Knowledge of ITIL, (ITIL Foundation certified).
