Data Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Data Engineer based in Sweden for an initial 10 month contract.

*** Must be able to speak and write fluent Swedish ***

Job Spec:

• Management – ​​takes responsibility for a sub-area, and can lead a smaller group
• Have expertise in relational databases, data lakes and distributed file systems.
• Has at least 4 years of experience in structuring and making data available for data-intensive operations and using tools such as e.g. Apache Airflow.
• Has experience in development in a Linux environment and knowledge of development in Python.
• Has good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Has a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Has experience in informatics or information architecture.
• Have experience with semantic interoperability and documentation of data sets in metadata tools such as e.g. DataHub.
• Experienced in analyzing and improving performance in data flows.
• Have experience of system integration between several authorities or alternatively between several organizations/organizational parts.
• Have experience from integration with, or development of, Machine Learning or other AI technologies.
