Full Stack Developer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer Full time remote for an initial 6-month contract

Job Spec:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) applications to validate technical solutions and architectures
• Build and maintain full stack applications using Python on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React) on the frontend
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and stakeholders to refine requirements and technical approaches
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on usability and performance
• Manage version control, branching, and code reviews using Git
• Design and interact with relational databases, writing efficient SQL queries
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Strong experience in Python for backend development (e.g., APIs, services, scripting)
• Proficiency in React.js (or similar modern front-end frameworks)
• Solid experience with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience building full stack applications end-to-end
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration
• Understanding of secure development practices within regulated environments
