Whitehall Resources are currently looking for Security Consultant based in Cheshire for an initial 6 -month contract.
Job Spec:
This is a client-focused, technical role responsible for supporting the secure design and implementation of change across a wide range of business areas, platforms, and technologies. The Senior Security Consultant plays a lead role in delivering security consultancy services and ensuring that security risks are effectively identified, communicated, and managed throughout the system development lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement secure solutions that minimise risk, reduce rework, and optimise cost.
· Provide expert security guidance across projects, products, and platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational risk appetite.
· Identify opportunities to leverage and enhance existing security capabilities and tools.
· Support delivery teams by defining, tracking, and validating security requirements throughout project lifecycles.
· Conduct security assessments, workshops, and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
· Ensure end-to-end security integrity and quality across solutions and product releases.
· Communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Take ownership of consultancy engagements, including planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and final sign-off.
· Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of client interactions and outcomes.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement and success of the Security Solutions function.
