Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a ServiceNow Tester based in Cheshire for an initial 6 month contract.

Job Spec:
The Test Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery solution and owns all test activity. This role will work with the HR organisation, HR journey owners, process owners and various HR teams to support testing of the ServiceNow environment.
Key Accountabilities:
1) Execute plans for test phases based on overall project plan to accommodate all tasks involved
- Identify and highlight discrepancies in specifications
- Understand dependencies between changes within individual releases
- Solutionise problems identified during agile meetings
- Identify and communicate risks with project/ test approach
- Create risk and query logs
- Create test cases/ scripts/ charters/ data sheets/ sample data
- Set up and Execute tests and record evidence
- Raise defects with appropriate amount of details
- Report results/ outcome of testing to project audience
- Support the introduction of automation testing into the programme
- Conform to established good practice and any appropriate test automation standards
- Define test scenarios and create test scripts
Stakeholder Management and Leadership:
- Internal Customer Stakeholders include: HR Journey owners, process/service owners
- Close collaboration with Business Analysts, Solution architects and Developers on requirements and associated functionality.
Decision-making and Problem Solving:
Candidate needs to effectively test the Colleague Onboarding application and associated portal involving multiple process areas and technical teams.

Person Specification:
- Worked on major programmes and coordinated testing
- Worked in an environment involving SI partners and vendors
- Has experience of testing across multiple business processes (UAT/SIT/technical etc)
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Working experience in ServiceNow portal
- Experience of creating and executing test plans in line with programme delivery plans
- Has experience of testing across multiple business processes (UAT/SIT/technical etc)
- can engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from all relevant HR/Tech areas
- Demonstrates a good end to end understanding of the application of technology to process
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience in ServiceNow portal
- Working experience in ServiceNow HRSD
- Working experience of technologies such as JIRA
- Working experience of test technology
- Exposure to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodology, Testing Concepts (e.g Black Box testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing etc.)”
