Technical Architect

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Technical Architect. This role is hybrid working with some occasional travel to Cambridgeshire, and the remainder remote working, on an initial 3-month contract.

Job Description:
– Lead the technical architecture and design workshops with stakeholders to finalise and validate requirement based on delivered document during discovery phase.
– Define and finalise the target architecture, system landscape, integration approach
– Develop and deliver the High-Level Design (HLD) document, covering application architecture, infrastructure, security, networking, integrations, and data flows.
– Assess current-state architecture and identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and migration considerations.
– Define non-functional requirements (availability, scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery) and ensure they are incorporated into the technical design.
– Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and integration teams to align architecture decisions and design standards.
– Review and validate solution design against technical architecture guidelines
– Provide technical leadership, architecture recommendations, and effort estimations to support project planning and implementation activities.
– Present the HLD to stakeholders, address review comments, and obtain architecture sign-off.
– Support the transition from design to build and implementation teams by ensuring architecture requirements are clearly communicated.
