Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an Lead Software Developer on a remote basis for an initial 5 month contract.
Job Spec:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI development and experimentation environments.
- Evaluate emerging AI tooling, frameworks and technology platforms.
- Build integration services, APIs and orchestration capabilities.
- Support deployment, monitoring and operational readiness activities.
- Assess tooling costs, licensing impacts and infrastructure requirements.
- Develop reusable accelerators, technical assets and reference implementations.
- Implement security controls, monitoring and operational guardrails.
- Support continuous improvement and optimisation of AI platforms.
- Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
Required Technical Competencies
- Software engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise.
- Experience with AI platforms AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Foundry, APIs and orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of Azure AI services and cloud-native architectures.
- DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Cost optimisation and cloud consumption management.
- Security, monitoring and operational support principles.
- Integration and automation technologies.
