Required Skills:
Databricks: SQL modeling, Unity Catalog, AI/BI Dashboards, Genie, NL2SQL, Semantic Layer design & configuration, RLS implementation.
Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer / Databricks Consultant with strong experience in Databricks SQL, semantic layer design, and governed analytics. The role will focus on building scalable, secure, and business-ready analytics solutions leveraging Databricks’ modern BI and AI capabilities, while supporting existing reporting ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop SQL-based data models on Databricks to support analytics, reporting, and self-service BI use cases.
– Implement and manage Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance, lineage, access control, and discoverability.
– Build and maintain Databricks AI/BI Dashboards and leverage Databricks Genie to enable conversational analytics.
– Implement NL2SQL capabilities, enabling business users to query data using natural language.
– Design and configure a semantic layer that ensures consistency, performance, and reusability across dashboards and reports.
– Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access controls to meet data security and compliance requirements.
– Support integration with downstream reporting and analytics tools as needed.
